Heart’s Nancy Wilson tied the knot for the second time on Saturday, saying “I do” to FOX music executiveGeoff Bywater at Sammy Hagar’s El Paseo restaurant in Mill Valley, California. She writes atHeart-Music.com, “Love rules.” When Nancy announced their engagement in March, she said, “We are deeply in love, the same age and both devoted parents. There is so much happiness we share together and our blended families, too.”
Elvis Presley Enterprises and partners, including Sony Music, will be going all out on a new promotional campaign based on the theme “I Am An Elvis Fan.”
- Online voting through May 12th will determine the songs for a CD to be released in mid-summer just prior to the annual Elvis Week in Memphis.
- Fans will be able to upload their pictures that will be incorporated into an Elvis mosaic print that will be used in the CD’s cover art — and also be available as a special, poster-size print.
- There will be a special “I Am An Elvis Fan” t-shirt.

Ringo Starr is working on a musical, but it’s not known if it’s for the stage, the big screen or TV. Along with Dave Stewart, Ringo has a deal in place with Paramount for Hole in the Fence, a coming-of-age drama about a group of kids who form a band to escape their depressing mining town. Ringo and Stewart, who worked together on Ringo’s last two albums, are the executive producers. If it is headed for the stage, here’s hoping it will fare better than Ghost, the Broadway musical that Stewart wrote the music and lyrics for. It has been panned by the critics.
Bruce Springsteen wraps up the first North American leg of his Wrecking Ball tour tonight in his home state of New Jersey. It will be his first-ever show at the Prudential Center in Newark. Up next is Europe, starting May 13th in Sevilla, Spain. The second North American leg starts August 18th in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
