So how was your weekend?

Friday night we took 3 of the Kids on the Couch to the Reds game. Expensive! Lemon chills, cotton candy, hotdogs and Granddaddy’s Margarita! Our dancing paid off with 2 appearances on the big screen. How come you’re never looking the right way when it’s your time to shine?

Saturday I was driving when my ever advancing age popped into my mind. I couldn’t remember how old I was! So I counted on my fingers and figured out I am still 55 for 6 more weeks. Better get busy on that bucket list.

Sunday, I never seem to be around a tv when a baseball brawl breaks out. It was a good one at GABP. I was grocery shopping. But the highlights were awesome. Rarely does anyone ever get hurt and in this heat, tempers are flaring everywhere. Imagine playing on a hot field in hot long pants and then getting beaned with a hard ball. Add testosterone and youth and it’s on! It doesn’t matter who started it, only who finishes it. This time it was the Pirates.
