Many of us have special relationships with co-workers. We spend a lot of time together. Most nights of the week, Chris and I text back and forth with Keith Mitchell on Jeopardy answers and doofy contestants that guess at the answer. Rockin’ Ron and I will for no reason break into Mac Davis’ “Baby, Don’t get hooked on me.”
I know a lot about Angie Irick. For example did you know she loves Circus peanuts?! Angie knows that I love the 1976 movie “A Star is Born,” starring Babs and Kris Kristofferson. Of course Chris knows it too and recently messaged me on my way home, that Kris (John Norman Howard) was getting ready to sing “Watch Closely Now, ” which is one of my few impressions.
By the time I got home, John Norman had died and Ester (Babs) was getting ready for the greatest movie showstopper ever, “With One More Look At You/Watch Closely Now.”
I immediately sent Angie a picture of Babs singing, no explanation needed.
What special things do you share with your co-workers that they get right away?
By the way… If you haven’t seen it in awhile, Watch Closely Now, Ladies and Gentlemen, Ester Hoffman Howard.
