Jane’s Addiction Shares New Single, “True Love,” Days After Canceling Their Tour

Jane’s Addiction picked an unfortunate time to release their brand new song, “True Love.” The track is the second new single recorded by the band’s reunited classic lineup, but it arrives only two days after the group canceled all the remaining dates on their current North American tour following an onstage band fight last week. Jane’s also shared an official lyric video for “True Love,” as well as the single artwork for the moody ballad.

One of the repercussions of Jane’s Addiction prematurely ending their tour is the opening acts missing out on paydays as well as exposure. Guitarist Dave Navarro addressed those concerns in his Instagram stories, writing, “I would personally like to apologize to Love and Rockets and Crawlers and their crews for such a terrible outcome of what started off as an incredibly magical tour. @loveandrockets are heroes of mine and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to perform on the same stage as them for as long as I did. It truly has been an honor.” (Consequence of Sound)
