On Tuesday (March 18), Billy Corgan and his wife Chloé Mendel Corgan welcomed their third child, daughter Juno, who was born at a healthy 9.9 pounds and 22 inches at the family’s home in Highland Park, Illinois. “My wife Chloé is doing well and recovering, and baby Juno is happy, healthy, and nursing with gusto,” Corgan shared. “We are so touched by all the kind wishes of support and love, and thank those who helped Chloé and baby have such a safe, and peaceful, home birth.” The couple shared a photo with Juno on Instagram, with Corgan holding an acoustic guitar, hinting at her potential future in music. Amidst the birth of Juno, Corgan, who recently turned 58, has been busy with the launch of his podcast, The Magnificent Others, while planning a series of special concerts with the Lyric Opera of Chicago that will commemorate the 30th anniversary of The Smashing Pumpkins‘ Grammy-nominated album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
